We embed health disparities principles and concepts throughout our curriculum. There are resident-led monthly noon conference lectures on topics in health disparities. The faculty address disease-specific health disparities in their daily noon-time talks to the residents. Residents and faculty are trained to consider social determinants of health in all their patient encounters and these are routinely discussed during case presentation and clinical rounds.
