Congratulations and welcome to the Pediatric Neurology Residency Program at the Columbia University Medical Center of the New York Presbyterian Hospital. This is an exciting time as you transition from pediatrics to the world of neurology and child neurology. We are very pleased to have you here, and look forward to working with you during the next 3 years.
In this manual, we have provided an overview of important information about the program. This includes the goals and objectives of the program and the individual rotations, our intended methods of monitoring and evaluating your progress, hospital policies, the responsibilities of residents assigned to each of the different services, and schedules for your year.
Drs. Mayeux, will meet with you at regular intervals, and are always available to meet with you as needed to discuss anything that’s any questions or concerns as soon as they arise.
We look forward to getting to know you during the next three years, and we wish you every success as you become Child Neurologists.
