Welcome Message

Welcome to the beginning of a challenging and rewarding two years. You will learn so much, and we look forwarding to learning from you and from each other.

The NY Presbyterian Neurocritical Care Program is one of the nation’s largest neurocritical care training programs, with nine fellows over two campuses (Columbia University Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medical Center). Though the size and dual-campus nature of the fellowship can be a challenge to ensure each trainee meets the educational goals and objectives of the program, our success in this endeavor allows the size and set-up of our program to be one of its greatest strengths. Between the two campuses, fellows have increased exposure to a wide range of acute brain injury in critically ill patients. Didactics are shared between the two campuses, allowing for a common curriculum and training for fellows. Research opportunities between the two campuses are complementary, with strong ongoing collaborations between the institutions. Both institutions are leaders neurocritical care research and education. Fellows are supported at both campuses with training in database management, biostatistics, quality improvement, and medical education research.
